In other documents, we included anything from the power of attorney to the credit card authorization form.
1. Power of Attorney (POA)
Power of attorney form is a legal document that allows a client to appoint someone else to make decisions for them. Really good to have when someone will not be present on the day of the move themselves.
2. Waiver and release Agreement
This document is there to transfer responsibility for injuries and or damages from one party to another. While releases primarily are for legal reasons, they also play an educational role by alerting participants to potential risks. This awareness often suffices to prevent avoidable accidents and the ensuing legal proceedings.
3. Full and final agreement
This agreement states that the terms of the contract are final and binding between the parties. Any prior agreements made are not to be used or valid moving forward.
4. Credit card authorization form
When running a moving business, you need to have the clients information until the transaction has been completed. In order to be allowed to do that, you need to have the client fill out the credit card authorization form. This document grants you the business to charge the client their credit card.
